Professional Migration

When you pay someone to migrate you to Linux, you are paying for the person's time to do so. Most Linux Distributions are free, as we've already mentioned. So it's not the Operating System or Software that you're paying for.

If you live in or near Chicago, I can migrate you over starting as low as $50
for doing so (click the contact link at the bottom of the page to open the contact email address into your email client -- or -- right click and select "Copy Email Address" -- paste it into your webmail reader and make sure you change the [at] to @). If you do not live near Chicago then I would suggest you check out Craig's List. If you do not see any postings for your area for a Company or Individual Technician who does this sort of work, then post a request for one. Let people know you're looking. Craig's List has been online since the Mid-1990's and is a vaulable tool for both seekers and people seeking, regardless of the product, service or reason.

I also have quite a few friends world wide who do this sort of thing so I will be consulting with them as soon as I can to get their information, put it up here and list them based on geographic region. There are a lot of people that are qualified however I'd prefer to keep the list to people whom I've known for awhile as they've provided me with proof of their expertice.

So if you're a Linux Technician and would like to end up listed here, then getting to know me would be the best way of going about it. I'll not be granting random requests for being listed here as it would be a breach of ethics to list an unverified entry.

The people who will be listed here, myself included, are experienced in upgrading your existing PC or building you a new PC entirely. Receiving personal service is by far more rewarding than allowing the headless corporate monsters sucker you into yet another marketing scheme.
